Once again, thanks for making the Summer of CMA a success!

The Romie-Mobile is going to be out and about this Saturday getting some fresh air in Sandusky. She won’t be going to Cedar Point, but she will be learning all about reds and whites at one of Ohio’s oldest wineries. Don’t worry Romie is a responsible driver so she won’t be trying the Isle St. George Cabernet Sauvignon or the Rose de St. George. She’ll just have to stick to the cheese and crackers.

If you spot her learning about the bottling process or guess which winery she is at leave a comment and you can win a gift certificate to Malley’s Chocolates!

Congratulations to Barry Cunningham! He made off with a pair of tickets to Hilarities for guessing that Romie spent her weekend visiting the Great Lakes Brewery and the Quicken Loans Arena.

There are still plenty of prizes to give away so keep checking back for more contests and clues as the Summer of CMA continues!

What is Romie up to this weekend? Keep reading for some clues to Romie’s “essential-Cleveland” weekend. (Keep in mind that Romie starts her weekends on Friday).

Romie starts her weekend with a trip to this Cleveland favorite, known to be a premiere craft brewery in the Great Lakes Region. Maybe she’ll start off with a meat and cheese board and some Stilton Cheddar Ale soup. Since she’s too young to drink a Dortmunder Gold she might try some Edmund Fitzgerald chunk ice cream.

She’ll let her weekend adventure continue and head over to this Cleveland venue to enjoy a night with a Grammy winner and multi-platinum superstars. Hope she remembers her cowboy hat.

Rumor has it that Romie is stopping by this MVP’s court on Saturday to get a quick lesson on his game; and another game where the players are not as graceful as figure skaters. Hopefully she remembers not to call them the Loch Ness Monsters.

**Comment on the blog as to where Romie will be spending her weekend and be entered to win a pair of ticktes to the Improv, Hilarities or the Grog Shop.

Romie had an excellent time at the Cuyahoga County Fair this past weekend! She started off her day by visiting all the livestock and even getting a chance to milk a cow.

After that, she stopped by the beer garden but because she isn’t 21 she had to settle for some refreshing lemonade instead.

Romie also got to meet a lot of interesting people. She met members of the Coast Guard and the Marines. But the most interesting person by far had to be the Ape Girl!

After playing some carnival games, Romie tried to ride the Zipper but was too short. Oh well, there’s always next year!

Romaine_HAVE_314x227Romie’s kicking off the weekend at a Cuyahoga County favorite – can you guess where she is?

She’ll be spending her afternoon eating elephant ears and drinking lemonade; watching pigs, rabbits, goats and horses; and getting spun and flipped on midway rides (after the elephant ears digest of course).

If she stays late enough, she may even catch fireworks!

If you spot her, send a photo to haveyouseenit@clevelandart.org and you’ll be entered to win a four-pack of tickets to Swings-N-Things and a free scoop of ice cream!

**Congratulations to our recent winners! David Freeman spotted Romie at Art on Tap Wednesday and won a pair of tickets to the Grog Shop (image below). Susan Russell spotted Romie at the Mix 106.5 Listener Lunch yesterday and won a free pizza from Donato’s! Thanks for playing!
